Based off of the card game by
the same name, Legend of the Five Rings is not just a computerized version of
it's cardboard counterpart. The game takes advantage of the rich history and background
already built up in the card game to produce something much different for the computer
version. Legend of the Five Rings is a action / roleplaying game set in the
ancient, mythical world of Rokugan.
You play a young samurai who will embark on more than 30 quests
throughout the game as you develop and master your magic skills, as well as the Japanese
fighting art of kenjutsu. Ultimately, your quest will lead you to recovering the seven
lost segments of a sacred artifact. A multiplayer cooperative option will also be
available for up to eight players over the Internet.
